The i-bird. You are the wind beneath its wings.

The i-Bird is the latest generation of R/C flyers, and without a propeller in sight, it’s easy to see why this gadget does warrant a whole new generation. Rather than using un-bird-like rotors, the i-Bird simulates a real bird’s flapping wings perfectly. This is enough to keep it airborne and allows it to flit around both indoors and outdoors, completely in your control.
Granted, the hand controller isn’t as sleek as the i-Bird itself, but through infrared, it does the job of manoeuvring the little fella away from the expensive crystal. If you are still worried about not being skilled enough to steer away from an expensive crash, the i-Bird flies at a relatively slow speed so that you can keep up with it. It’s also tough enough to survive even my abrupt landing skills.
Priced at £30 from RED5* the i-Bird is an affordable must for the gadget lover in your life.
